2011. Dublin. Erika wrote her first songs in English, a language that sounds more interesting rhythm-wise and which better fits her new musical direction. The unavoidable return to Rome and the conclusion of an indescribable relationship after 5 years strongly mark a new beginning. "He is the constant inspiration of my music. He has sucked my heart".
2013. Milan. Erika met here Federico Novelli, Flavio Cozzoli, Ivo Masnata and Massimo De Carlo. This is how "the erica leaves" project came to light.
"The band did not have to be named after me. The new sound was different, the goal was larger. I also wanted to feel myself part of a band, to share ideas and finally see the blossoms germinate and grow as they couldn’t over these last years. Ivo came out with the name of the band and unconsciously enclosed my whole life in two simple words: the roots of my name - my father’s memory - and my continuous searching of something, which maybe I will find here".
